An around Europe diary of a hippie couple and Volkswagen camper van.

In 1993 we bought a VW camper, took a year off work and drove around the whole of the European coastline, island hopped through Greece and drove through Turkey to Cappadocia to the Caves of God. The trip took us 9 months.

The diary was written on a more or less daily basis and follows our little or maybe fairly major exploration of Europe.

On the way we met lots of good and interesting people; backpackers, fellow travellers, hitchhikers and holiday makers. We made many friends. Enjoy our horse riding adventures in Cappadocia with Mad Eric and Tonnie, our Corfu drinking sessions with Sue and Jill, market excursions with Gregg and Jeff in Portugal and our nudist experience on a beach in Crete. We had a fair few adventures, drank a lot of wine, enjoyed new cultures and drove thousands of miles.

Hopefully you'll read this book because you are going backpacking or travelling around Europe or just going to Cappadocia in a VW camper! We'd like you to enjoy our adventure as well.
